Hillary Clinton: She's the quintessential hard-ass powerful lady. The woman who becomes our first female president owes everything to her -- she took shit for trying to be a domestic-mommy figure, for not being a domestic-mommy figure, for being insufficiently attractive, for sticking with her philandering husband, for haircuts and fashion choices and even, sometimes, legitimate policy decisions. But she handles it, owns it, and keeps our foreign policy in line while she's at it. We salute you, Madam Secretary.
